Surrounding Area

Inverness is a small Historic Town reminiscent of Old Florida. The area is surrounded by numerous lakes that are perfect for boating, fishing or waterskiing and many first class golf courses. This part of Florida is known at "The Nature Coast" so if you love the outdoors and wildlife Citrus County is perfect for you. During the winter months the World Famous Manatee spend their time in Crystal River and you can take one of many diving trips to get to know them better.

Accommodations

The center piece of The Lake House is the Great Room. The cathedral ceiling, huge stone fireplace and antique wagonwheel chandeler set off the room beautifully. The whole house has been restored to casual elegance yet rataining it's rustic charm.

The Lake House rests among one and a half acres of landscaped gardens featuring a koi pond and waterfall, a relaxing patio and walkway to the Lake.

Rooms/Suites

The Lake House features five rooms all with a full private bathroom, air conditioning and cable TV. Each room is individually decorated some have four poster beds and hardwood floors others feature wicker furniture and garden tubs.

Restrictions

Pets are limited to small, well behaved dogs that must get along with the owners dog.

Smoking is not permited at the Lake House.

Children of any age are welcome and we have a crib available for infants ($15 a day charge).
