Located along I-70 in a small town that was established as the railroads forged west into a new frontier. This is farm country and a nature lovers paradise. Central to Cedar Bluff Reservoir, Sternberg Museum, Old Fort Hays, the Cottonwood Ranch and Castle Rock.

Our guest house takes you back into a simpler time. Relax on the front porch and survey the gardens and the park that surrounds the Court House Square. Common areas enjoyed by our guests include an oak floored living room and dining room with original frosted glass light fixtures. The sun porch makes a relaxing place to enjoy that second cup of coffee.

Rooms/Suites

The Butterfly Room is on the second floor and has a recently remodeled spa type bath that is adjacent to your room. Your room has a king sized bed, an antique iron full sized bed and a twin bed tucked into the alcove. It will sleep as many as 5 comfortably if you have a group. You will have the privacy of the entire second floor.

Amenities

Within walking distance of unusual gift shops, the Western Kansas Saloon & Grill and an old fashioned soda fountains.

Restrictions

No pets; smoking is allowed on the front porch. Children of all ages are welcome.

$85 for two guests. $15 for each additional guest.

From Interstate 70, exit at #128; go north 1 mile to Warren Avenue. Turn west on Warren Avenue and go 8 blocks to the "1906 Cottage Garden Guest House" behind the white picket fence (510 Warren Avenue).
