Accommodations
This Italian/QueenAnne Renaissance home was built in 1899.It
features hand painted ceilings, stained glass windows and magnificent inlaid & carved woodwork. It has four guestrooms each furnished with furniture of the era. Each room has private bath with air-conditioning individually controlled. There are many sitting rooms to enjoy. A music room complete with player piano and many musical instruments available to the guests. There is a lovely curved verandah with many comfortable wicker lounge chairs and rockers to relax upon while you step back into history as you watch an occasional Amish Buggy passby along with the regular sreet traffic. In the cooler months enjoy the lovely handcrafted mosaic tile fireplace, hand painted ceilings and carved Honduran mahogany woodwork, as well as the lovely stained glass windows.

THE ROSE ROOM:
Features a king-size bed (Two twin beds combined to form the kingsize). It features Antique Mahogany furniture with
vanity and dresing table. This bright cheery room has a stained glass window door overlooking the magnificent staircase. It also has its own private in room bath, with Antique marble sink. In room air conditioner. We would love to have you step back in history - and spend the night in the Rose Room!
THE SOLOMON ROOM: This room features beautiful Antique Birdseye Maple furniture with two double beds, fainting couch, armoire and dressers. Private bath & inroom Air-conditioninig. This room also contains a stained glass window-door overlooking the staircase. This is a very bright and cheery room which welcomes you to step back into history.

THE AMELIA:
Named after Solomon Mier's wife. It has one double bed and one 3/4 size bed. Also a wicker daybed and some magnificent Antique Eastlake furniture, private bath and inroom airconditioning. This room truly invites you to step back into History!
THE ABRAHAM:
This is one of our warmest coziest rooms, it has a Queensize Antique Brass Bed, several pieces of antique oak furniture to relax on. It has a great bay window to sit and read an old book from our library. Also an artifical fireplace (Great effect though!) Private out of room bath.
