Hiking for all fitness levels, fishing and canoeing at Iniakuk Lake, bird watching, wildlife viewing, catch and release fishing for Lake Trout, Pike and Grayling, fly-out all-inclusive tours. We recommend you choose a tour combining a stay at Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge with a flight seeing adventure which includes a private float plane and pilot to take you and your guide on a day trip into the surrounding countryside. Float a river, flight see or spend the day fishing, then return to The Lodge in time for dinner.

This vacation destination is for adventurous, independent travelers who want to experience Alaska's wilderness knowing a luxury wilderness lodge and Alaska-style gourmet meals are included, not extra. Under the extraordinary light of the Midnight Sun, expect fantastic food featuring regional delicacies, freshly baked bread, pastries and decadent desserts prepared 225 miles from the nearest supermarket. Age range, type of group

We specialize in intimate groups, individual attention and warm hospitality. We provide a guide for every group at any fitness level and adjust all services to individual needs. Remote facilities are not suitable for children under the age of seven.Iniakuk Lodge is our home and remote Alaska is our way of life. We built it, we own it, we run it, since 1974, so it's personal and that's how we treat our guests. We'll ask you to take your shoes off when you come inside and then we'll tell you how the lodge was built, by hand, one log at a time. The meals are hand-crafted too and you'll enjoy fresh king salmon, sourdough blueberry pancakes and other local delicacies served family-style at a common table.

Sleeping and meals

The main lodge has 3 rooms; each with a double & single bed; each with a breathtaking view of the 5-mile long Iniakuk Lake. There is a shared bath. A modern showering facility is located in a separate building close by. An additional guest house can be reached by canoe and consists of 2 spacious rooms; each with a double and single bed. There is a shared bath. The upper level offers a panoramic view of the lake and is ideal for reading, dancing or reflecting. As our guest, you can expect gourmet meals, freshly baked bread and decadent desserts prepared 200 miles from the nearest supermarket. Restrictions

Rooms are no smoking only. We request our guests smoke only in designated areas.Remote facilities are not suitable for children under seven.No pets please. We do not have a liquor license; you are welcome to bring your own bottle.

Rates

Three-night, all-inclusive stay features lodging, all meals and naturalist-guide with your group for the duration of your stay. Round-trip air transportation from Fairbanks to Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge included. $4495.00 per person (Rates based on double-occupancy, four-person minimum). We will gladly provide a custom quotation for groups of any size.

Other Information

Accessible by float or ski plane only. All flights are weather dependent. Check-in time 12:00 noon; check-out time 11:00A or earlier depending on flight scheduling. Guests with health or dietary restrictions are responsible for disclosing their condition on the guest application form. Spin fishing and basic fly fishing gear provided.
