Accommodations
Originally built by the CCC as an elementary school in 1938, The Bingen School Inn's charm can be attributed to careful consideration in retaining that aura. Chalkboards remain intact for all to scribble and sketch and old lockers still line the hall, available for securing small valuables (bring your own lock). The wide hallways and high ceilings allow indoor storage of recreational equipment as well
The facility consists of two buildings on an entire city block with a baseball/soccer field in the adjacent lot. A spacious kitchen is available to groups, and cooking facilities exist for all guests. Both the men's and women's showers are large with lots of HOT water! The gymnasium has a basketball/volleyball court, stage, weight room and over 2000-sq. ft. of climbing wall.
