Join veteran wildlife guide & bush pilot 'Tundra Tom' and his interpretive guide team on a choice of remarkable aircraft or watercraft -supported wildlife photography camps in the true Arctic wild. While venturing with us to the remote mainland tundra of the Territory of Nunavut, you can choose to experience the great caribou migration, tundra wolves & pups during the den cycle, musk-oxen herds, nesting raptors, the midnight sun, northern lights, and incredible autumn colors. we also offer canoe and kayak expeditions on the Thelon & Back River systems. Best of references available by request.

Typical Day

Following a 150 to 250 airmiles charter flight to the remote comfortable and catered wildlife camp, we offer a choice a daily interpretive programs accessed by powerboats, float aircraft or easy going hikes to see wildlife in their natural habitat, and also natural history & aboriginal history and archeology. Astounding scenic tundra vistas, numerous wildlife & birding encounters, plus remarkable history can be discovered at every step and turn!

Age range, type of group

We accept singles, couples and small groups of all ages in moderate physical condition.

Sleeping and meals

Depending on which camp location and the type of wildife being pursued, the sleeping accommodations are either in quality ground tents, or in Quonsets with rugs, beds and matresses.

Wonderful four-five course fresh food 'campfire style' meals are served daily while with us on the field.

Restrictions

We do not allow pets on our wildilfe or canoe trips, as they can interfere and harrass local wildlife.

Rates

Our mainstream wildlife and canoe trips for wolves, musk-oxen & caribou cost $3,995.00 USD Single or $7,500.00 USD Double.

Our specialty wildlife trips such as the 'Great Summer Caribou Migration' and 'Search for the Legendary White Musk-oxen' involve more charter flights, and are thus a bit more expensive. Rates for these two trips are $5,000.00 USD Single or $9,350.00 Double.

None of the rates listed include tax.

Discounts Offered

We offer discounts for couples booking as a double.

We also offer a substantial discount to those wishing to extend their one week trip for a second week: $2,500.00 USD per person extra.

We extend a 1/2 price discount for children 14 and under when accompanied by two adults.
