Surrounding Area

There is just so much to do here- City wise we are blessed with world class food - and wine, and take a trip to many different islands, to bird sanctuaries, extinct volcanoes, World war 11 dug outs and guns, vineyards, gannet (large seabirds) nesting colonies, underground aquarium where they are breeding King Penguins on the ice
We also have a 37' cruising sailing catamaran and we can take you sailing for day trips or longer. I live to go sailing - please join me!!!

Accommodations

4 bedroom, 1 with 4 poster bed, all have ensuites or private bathroom. House is heritage rated 100 year old period villa, very tastefully renovated, and on stunning site on edge of water (we have own beach - and is the only homestay within 50 miles of Auckland to be so lucky!)

Rooms/Suites

Each room painted different pastel colour, with ships models in each. All have coffee and tea facilities, with biscuits, all have TV. Floors are matai, (polished timber)

Amenities

Auckland city is 8 mins away, by ferry or car. We tend to dine locally. A classic English pub is in walking distance, as are cinema, cafes, great fish shop, hairdresser, etc 20 more resturantes are only 2 miles away.

When flying in the easiest is a shuttle or taxi which will bring you right to the door. We can arrange a meet and greet service We will be waiting
