Enjoy the awesome views of the spectacular Rocky Mountains. We are minutes from the Cranbrook Museum of Rail Travel, Kimberley Mining Railroad, Fort Steele Heritage Village, The St.Eugene Mission Resort and Casino. Within a radius of 32 km there are five 18 hole golf courses and one 9 hole golf course. Nature lovers will delight in the wildlife and birdwatching opportunities as well as unlimited outdoor recreational sports and activities. Within 25 minutes to 1 hour, there are two major alpine ski resorts. There are numerous restaurants in Cranbrook and nearby Kimberley. Also many nearby wild rivers, lakes, and natural hot springs. Photo opportunities abound.

Accommodations

A "CANADA SELECT 4 1/2 STAR" ranch style air-conditioned country home. Situated on a quiet,park-like picturesque acerage, surrounded by unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains. Three well appointed bedrooms are offered with private baths. There are two guest lounges with fireplaces where guests can make themselves at home.Outside relax on our spacios deck and patios. For our guests convenience there is on-site paved,lighted parking.

Rooms/Suites

Each room has a private bathroom, Cable TV/VCR, phone, refrigerator, radio-alarm clock, robes, hair dryer, make-up mirror, and many extras. Two rooms have mountain views and direct access to the deck and outdoor hot tub. One room has a pine forest view. Two rooms have queen size beds and one one room has one queen and two extra-long twin beds and therapeutic bathtub.

Amenities

A guest hospitality center is located in the Sunroom with a microwave, bar sink and refrigerator where guests can help themselves to complimentary teas, coffies, popcorn, etc. There is a piano in the main lounge for guests pleasure as well as satellite TV.There are two lounges with fireplaces to cozy up to for those occasional brisk mountain mornings. A hot tub is on the deck facing the Rocky Mountains. Picnic tables are placed to enjoy specific views and a BBQ is provided for guests use on the patio. Lawn games are also available.

Guest laundry facilities are provided. Airport transportation is available by request. Restaurant bookings can be arranged.

Restrictions

No smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted on the deck or patio only. No smoking off the deck due to fire hazard in summer months.

Sorry, no pets, Akita dog in residence.

Rates & Availability

Rate for one person $80.00. Two persons $90.00 to 100.00. Extra person $25.00, plus 7% Goods and Services Tax. Prices quoted in Canadian Dollars. This includes a full cooked breakfast.

Directions

Singing Pines is located 3.9km (2.5 mi.) north of Cranbrook BC, off Highway 95A North. Turn right at Kennedy Road, (a green and white highway sign gives notice that you are approaching Kennedy Road,this is followed by a blue and white B&B sign). Proceed approximately 700 metres on Kennedy Road until you come to our sign and paved driveway. We are located just 5 minutes from downtown Cranbrook, but a world away in a quiet country setting.
