The Minihorse Farm is located on the outskirts of the Village of St Martins, an area rich in seafaring and shipbuilding history. Grand old homes of long ago sea captains grace the main street and the Quaco museum preserves mementos of the era. Lobster and scallop boats tie up in the harbor, known for its two covered bridges and lighthouse. There's endless fascination on the miles of quiet beaches watching the ebb and flow of the highest tides in the world and exploring the sea caves. The Fundy Trail Parkway is just minutes away, a multi use hiking/driving recreation area along rugged and unspoiled coastline. See

Accommodations

Our Bed & Breakfast offers casual and economical accomodation and welcomes well behaved children. The farm home is 134 years old, shaded by magnificent linden trees, and looks out over the Bay Of Fundy.
Breakfast is, among other things, homemade blueberry waffles, a variety of homemade muffins and the best locally made honey-garlic sausages you'll ever taste. Guests enjoy fresh organic strawberries and raspberries from our garden.

Rooms/Suites

Two rooms are available, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. A roll out cot for a child can be set up in either room. Bedrooms are upstairs and the guest bathroom is downstairs. The host family has a separate bathroom.

Amenities

Guests are welcome to relax in the family living room with satelite tv, computer games, or just curl up with a book by the wood fire. Movies and lego for children as well as horse activities.

Services Offered

Tea and coffee at any time. Guests are welcome to use our kitchen for preparation of lunches.

Restrictions

Smoking outdoors only. No pets.

Rates & Availability

Each room is $55.00 Canadian + 15% tax. Tax is refundable at the U.S. border. Additional child is $8.00 which includes a horse ride.

Directions

From Saint John airport drive 30 minutes along rt 111. When you come to the Welcome to St Martins signs take the right turn at the bottom of the hill onto the West Quaco Rd. Watch for our sign, 2 1/2 km in on the right. #280
From Sussex take rt 111 about 45 minutes to St Martins, straight past the Ultramar, next turn on the left is West Quaco Rd.
