Surrounding Area

This is the "Region of the Mountain Man" - like Jim Bridger, Jedediah Smith, Captain Bonneville. The area is "high desert" with mountain ranges and sagebrush valleys. The Oregon Trail passes just sixty miles to the south of our ranch.
The Wind River Mountain Range, which we are on the west slope, contain miles of Wilderness trails, lakes and streams. Horse pack trips take you to the "High Country", where there are no roads and very few people.

Vacation Rental Property

Nestled in the heart of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Boulder Lake Lodge offers a secluded location for family vacations, corporate retreats, lodging and meals, packtrips, fishing and big game hunting. The accommodations are rustic, yet fully modernized. The "Great Room", connected to the guest rooms is the gathering area for meals and socializing, with a huge fireplace at one end and various big game heads adorning the walls. The lodge is log sided, and other log buildings lend to the rustic atmosphere. See photos at

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Rooms in the lodge accommodate up to four persons each, in either two double beds, or one double and one set of bunks and each has a private bathroom. There are nine guestrooms; capacity is 34 persons.

Amenities

The Lodge features family style meals served three times daily in the spacious "Great Room". All meals are prepared in the old ranch style tradition of "home made and plenty of it!" There is always a choice of meat, vegetables, fruit, fresh baked breads, deserts and hot and cold drinks.
The surrounding wilderness area provides the entertainment, with hiking, fishing, horseback riding, photography, boating and lake swimming being the most popular.

Services Offered

Horseback rides, from one hour to ten day pack trips (or anything inbetween) are available. Guided fishing trips, either on horseback, moterboat, or drift boat on the rivers are also available. In the fall, guided big game hunts can also be arranged.

Restrictions

Children welcome! No pets. No smoking in the Lodge.

Rates & Availability

Booking for Boulder Lake Lodge is "a la carte". Sample rates are: Room for 2 persons $65/night. Meals $25/day/person. Horseback riding $15/hour. Pack trips (all accommodation) $175/person/day.
Our season is Memorial Day through mid - October. We have several times during that period with vacancies, both in the lodge and in the wilderness camp. Call for specifics.

A 35%deposit is required to confirm bookings. We accept personal checks for the deposit. Travelers checks and cash are also accepted upon checkout. NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
The lodge does not have fishing licenses. They must be obtained prior to arrival.
