Surrounding Area

Our idyllic setting is within the world famous pear orchards of Hood River Valley. Mt. Hood, just 13 miles distant, towers over the south end of our valley. The scene is ever-changing, from the blossoms of April through the fall colors of harvest, then snow-laden vistas of winter, there is a picturesque setting for every taste. Whether skiing, hiking, biking, sightseeing or just relaxing, there is something for everyone in this area less than 2 hours from Portland.

Accommodations

We have three guest bedrooms, two directly facing Mt. Hood, and the third room looking north to Mt. Adams in the distance in Washington. Our Library shares a fireplace with the Great Room. The Garden Room is adjacent to the Outoor Spa, so that guests may dry off inside. The Dining Room has a wonderful view and is an easy step from our outdoor patio, where we often serve breakfast weather permitting.

Rooms/Suites

The Vista Ridge room has a queen bed, a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, a fireplace and a wonderful mountain view. The Cloud Cap room has a king bed, private bath and the mountain appears beyond the foot of the bed in the morning. The Klickitat Room looks to the mountain for which it is named, Mt. Adams [Klickitat to the Native Americans]. It has a queen bed and private bath. All rooms have tv/vcr's.

Our 400+ gallon Outdoor Spa looks out at Mt. hood and up to the stars! Computer linkage is available.
A full breakfast is served between 8 and 9:30 AM at guests' convenience as determined the previous night.

A licensed masseuse is available via reservations to provide on site massages.

This is a no-smoking facility. Guests may smoke outside. Pets by consultation only. Children under 12 also by consultation for appropriateness of scheduling.

Directions

I-84 east from Portland to exit 64. Go toward Mt. Hood and Government Camp on Hwy 35, which begins at this exit. About 15 miles along Hwy 35 you will come to the Community of Mt. Hood. Continue past the Mt. Hood Country Store about 0.2 miles, to our sign and driveway on the left.

Two or more nights are discounted 15%. Winter rates, Sunday through Thursday, November through April are $20 off per room per night.
