The activities in Summit County are so extensive that it takes many trips to enjoy all that there is to offer. Breckenridge has the distinction of being the place to stay. It's charm and friendly atmosphere have made it one of the destinations for anyone visiting the Colorado Rockies.

Vacation Rental Property

Stay at Whispering Pines in the summer or winter. During the summer we provide self catered accommodation and in the winter a lodge which provides a unique full service vacation including gourmet meals, breakfast and much more. Whispering Pines Lodge is a custom home designed specifically for large parties such as; family groups, re-unions, weddings, Corporate retreats or for those who don't wish to be limited by space. The lodge can comfortably sleep 16 in 8 bedrooms.



Whispering Pines Lodge is located in Christie Heights only 600yrds from the Peak 8 Ski area and 0.8 mile from the main street of town. The ski shuttle stops right outside the house.


The lodge has plenty of living space with two sitting areas. Leather sofas allow you the chance to relax and watch your favorite team on TV, or why not cozy up to the river rock fireplace. In addition, we have a beautiful sunroom with wicker furniture that leads out to the hot-tub.

A Typical Day in Whispering Pines Lodge.

Start the day with a cooked American breakfast, accompanied with cereals, bagels, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Then let us whisk you off to the slopes in our private van. Here you can join ski school, explore the slopes with your friends and on certain days join our hosts for guided tours of the mountain and an opportunity to experience Breckenridge's champagne powder.

When you return to the chalet, relax and enjoy afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes or cookies. To soothe those tired muscles why not take dip in the hot-tub.

As the chef puts the finishing touches to your gourmet meal, savour the wonderful aroma and pick up some culinary tips.

Freshly brewed coffee is offered after your wonderful meal. Why not head into town for a nightcap or to enjoy some of the local hot-spots.

Breakfast and afternoon tea will be served two days a week, allowing you to sample some of the local cuisine in Breckenridge for your evening meal.


The living room is furnished with beautiful leather sofas and a large armoir which houses the satelite TV and VCR. The family room next door has a gas fireplace and sofas where you can sit and relax with your favorite book.

Whispering Pines Chalet.

Our master bedroom has a wonderful king sleigh bed. The room also boasts an armoir with TV, a writing desk and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shower and walk in closet.

The superior suite is ideal for a family or for those who really wish to have space. The king sleigh bed and sofa bed set the tone of this comfortable room with TV and VCR. An adjoining bunk room is great for the kids. This room also has an en-suite shower bathroom.

We have 6 additional bedrooms, all furnished to high standard.

Directions

Whispering Pines:
Directions; Take Highway 9 from I-70 to Breckenridge. Stay on Highway 9/Main St. At N.Park Ave traffic light turn right, (by city market). At Ski Hill Rd traffic light by 1st Bank, turn right onto Ski Hill Rd. Continue 0.7 mile, opposite Nordic Center turn Left onto Grandview Dr. We are first house on left, # 18 located on corner of Grandview and Ski Hill Road.

Kokopelli:
Directions. Take Highway 9 from I-70 to Breckenridge. Stay on Highway 9/Main St. through town until you reach the Conoco gas station at the south end of town. At the Conoco and traffic light turn right onto Broken Lance Dr. At stop sign turn left. Continue on Broken Lance, left at fork in road, over small bridge, after bridge we are 2nd house on left.
