Near the base of Pikes Peak, we are scenically located in historic Manitou Springs and within walking distance of the Garden of the Gods. Marvel at majestic views and brilliant sunshine in this charming mountain town. Hear our history and wonder at those sturdy folks who traveled by covered wagon to start a new life here a hundred or so years ago. Our area is home to the US Air Force Academy and the Olympic Training Center.

Accommodations

Inspired by our 1873 carriage house on the estate of the founder of Manitou Springs, Blue Skies Inn was built from the ground up by the innkeeper herself. Gothic Revival architectural details are in contrast to our high-tech, ultra-comfort interiors. Air-conditioning, TV/DVD, double phone jacks and sound insulation are standard features. Whirlpools and fireplaces are available for romantic stays.


The innkeepers are always happy to deliver breakfast to your door if you'd like to dine in the sunny sitting room of your suite. Summer finds our guests breakfasting under umbrellas at tables in the garden courtyard.

Rooms/Suites

Each three-room suite was painted and decorated by an artist using different themes. "Starlight" is one of several sky-themed rooms, complete with mirrored "time windows" in the decoratively tiled giant bathroom. Every suite has a private sitting room, some with daybeds and trundles to accommodate families in our quiet, sound-insulated inn. Some suites with fireplace, soaking tub or whirlpool.

Outdoor hot tub in gazebo for soaking and stargazing. Many excellent restaurants in our historic town. WiFi, Fax, copier and internet access on site. TV/DVD, free video library of 1100 movie titles, frig and microwave in each suite. Olympic-sized pool one block away.

Restrictions

No smoking, no pets, exception for guide dogs for the blind. Families welcome in our private, quiet suites. We are fully ADA handicapped accessible in our Indian Rock Art I suite.

I-25, Highway 24 West, four miles to Manitou Ave. exit. Right on Manitou Ave for 1 block, turn in at tall Gothic arch painted with blue sky. 8 miles from Colorado Springs airport.
