
Surrounding Area
We are surrounded by the Washington/Jefferson National Forest, minutes from the Historic Shenandoah Valley. Mountain vistas can be seen from our 12 acre property in all directions, scenic byways and mountain hiking trails begin at Longdale. Views from North Mountain overlook the Shenandoah Valley to the Blue Ridge Mountains to the east and overlook all of the Allegheny Mountains into West Virginia to the west.
Accommodations
We have 11 guest rooms and suites in the inn, on twelve acres of lawns and gardens. On the National Register of Historic Places, the Longdale Inn sets at the center of the Longdale Historic District at Longdale Furnace. Our common rooms on the 1st floor include a parlor, library/game room, sunroom and dinning room. Relax on the gazebo or in a hammock under a 250 year old tree, as you unwind from the stresses of life.

Rooms/Suites
The 1st floor has a three room suite for those traveling with pets. Our 3 room cottage is also available for travelers with pets. Both have King-size beds and living rooms for your comfort. Five guest rooms are located of the second floor of our 23 room English Manor House, and 4 guest rooms are on the 3rd floor. Twin-beds, Full-beds, Queen-beds and King size beds are available, as are rooms with private baths and rooms with shared baths.
Restrictions
Smoking is allowed on the gazebo and grounds, but not in the inn.
Children of all ages are welcome here at Longdale Inn.
Pets are weclome in our first floor suite and in the cottage.

Rate range from $80 to $140.

Directions
We are located west of I64 at exit 35 (Longdale Furnace exit) between Clifton Forge and Lexington, Virginia. Follow signs toward Longdale Furnace for 1/2 mile. The Inn is on the left.
