General Description:
Every year, students of all ages (16-75 years), and from many countries and professions, attend Eurolingua's numerous language, cultural, special interest and summer programmes worldwide. Students include private individuals, mature teenagers, university and MBA students, teachers, doctors, professional and business people, corporate executives, diplomats and embassy staff, government employees, military personnel and retired people.

French Summer School in Montpellier (June to September): Just take a look at this fantastic inclusive summer package.......intensive group programme + free conversation classes + cultural ‘twinning’ with a local French person + accommodation search fee + weekly guided tour + social and cultural activities + airport/rail transfers. 4 weeks 995€uro. 3 weeks 745€uro, 2 weeks 495€uro. 1 week only 250€uro, inclusive. Accommodation options during Summer School include local homestay with half-board (private room, breakfast and evening dinner) at only 168 €uro per week (7 nights). Hotel and aparthotel options also available if booked well in advance.

One-to-One Homestays (16-75 years):
Live and study abroad for 1 to 4 weeks, on a full-board basis, in the private family residence of a Eurolingua tutor. You benefit from intensive one-to-one, professional language tuition, enjoy local excursions and share usual family social, cultural and leisure activities. Total immersion in the language, culture and way of life is guaranteed. We collect you at and return you to the nearest airport or railway station. Programmes are available all year.

Group Programmes (16-75 years):
You benefit from a minimum of 15 hours (20 lessons) per week tuition in small friendly groups at one of our Institutes, with cultural visits and leisure activities. In order to maintain linguistic and cultural continuity, accommodation is with a selected, local host family. Studio apartments are also available. Open all year, with and special programmes during the summer.

Typical Day

Our French language Institute in the South of France, Eurolingua Institute, is situated in the heart of Montpellier, close to the beautiful and world-famous Place de la Comédie, only 2O minutes from wonderful Mediterranean beaches. Programmes start every Monday all year round and are for students and clients of any age (16-75 years), from beginners to advanced. Students join the group most appropriate to their language level, based on a linguistic assessment upon arrival.

Standard Programme: consists of 15 hours tuition per week (09h00 to 12h00 Monday to Friday) in small friendly groups (5-8 students).
Combined Programme: group morning lessons may be combined with afternoon individual lessons for greater intensity to to focus on special needs.

There is ample time for you to develop your speaking and comprehension skills in our informal converstaion groups and through our unique "Twinning Programme" - one-to-one language exchange with our local French students.

All ages 16 to 75 years, beginner to advanced, individuals or groups.

Sleeping and meals

In order to maintain linguistic and cultural continuity, we arrange accommodation for you with one of our local, selected host families. Most families are situated within 15 minutes pleasant and safe walk or bus/tramway ride from the school. Montpellier is quite a small town (200,000 pop.) and the centre in pedestrianised.

Accommodation is usually half-board, inclusive of private room, breakfast and evening dinner. Independent studio apartments, aparthotels and hotels are, of course, also available.

Policies & Restrictions

Our Accommodation Officer will make the reservations that best suit your requirements with one of our host families, apartments, hotels etc. We can offer vegetarian meals, cater for students with allergies etc.
