Great central location for touring both the Atlantic Ocean, (Lighthouse Route and Bay of Fundy shores (Evangeline Trail). We are just 15 minutes to the Atlantic Ocean with beautiful Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Oven's National Park, etc. and 25 minutes to Bay of Fundy with the worlds highest tides, tidal bore, Annapolis Valley, Annapolis Royal Fort, etc. We are also less than an hour to historical Halifax and world reknown Peggy's Cove. Many of our guest enjoy booking for a few days and then heading out in a different direction each day. This allows our guests more time and energy to enjoy this most poplar and beautiful part of Nova Scotia

Accommodations

The 4 1/2 star private Tutor-style estate is located on 4 acres of parkland and gardens. We have a screened in gazebo where our 2 rivers meet. These rivers surround us on three sides with only a stone rock wall joining us to land giving the feel of being on an island. All 5000 square feet of our home is open for guest enjoyment. We have 2 reading/sitting rooms, 1500 square foot entertainment area with bar, sunken lounge, floor to ceilling fireplace, dance area and games room. We have 2 bar fridges (please feel free to bring your own refeshments, BYOB) and a microwave for guest use. Relax on our large upper deck overlooking the rivers and back parkland or have a BBQ or sunbath on lower stone patio. Enjoy music or the soothing sounds of the rivers on deck or patio.

All of our rooms have queen beds and private baths.
Honeymoon suite- very large room with sound system, satelite TV, ensuite bathroom with romantic 4' X 5' shower.(bathroom done in European open effect)
Rm 1 - Sleigh Room with queen sleigh bed and decorated with pictures and crafts depicting our beautiful winters of old. Private 4 piece bath with whirlpool.
Rm 2 - Captain's Room with queen Captain's bed decorated in seascapes and ocean nicknacks. Private 4 piece bath done in seashell style.
Rm 3 - Spanish Room with queen bed and Spanish furnishings. Ensuite 4 piece bath.
Rooms 2 and 3 can also become a suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath and a sittingroom (pullout chesterfield) with library, satelite TV and VCR.

Amenities

Many amenities nearby, restaurants, Ross Farm Museum, fresh water swimming, hiking, fishing, hunting. Within 1/2 hour you have all the amentities of the ocean and tourist towns. We have internet access and conference facilities.

Other Information

Enjoy our gourmet breakfast. Start with a fresh fruit salad with homemade Maple yogurt sauce on the side. Specialities include seafood, aspargus, 3 pepper or ham omelets. (Omelets made with farm fresh eggs, mushrooms and 3 cheeses), French toast with Black Forest Ham or Bacon or Eggs Benedict with ham or smoked salmon. Savor our homemade perserves made with liqueurs on our 12 grain homemake bread.

In the evening sip on our complimentary glass of wine.

Directions

Highway 103 to Exit 9 (Highway 12), go North for 15 minutes to village of New Ross. At flashing light/churches make a right, stay to your left and 1/2 km on right side you will see our sign and driveway.
