Quiet neighborhood walks and a large beautiful park are just blocks away as well. Yet you will be in the heart of downtown Seattle after just a 15 minute walk! With Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Seattle Art Museum, and Seattle's exciting array of excellent restaurants and great shopping all around you. The location of Hill House is quite convenient to the Convention Center whether on foot, in less than 15 minutes, or by bus, picking up in the next block. Hill House is located on several bus lines for easy transportation to just about anywhere you would like to go. The challenge of parking is eliminated as off-street parking is provided for all rooms. To help sort out what to see and do, the innkeepers are readily available to help with directions, arranging transportation, or suggesting fun and interesting activities.
Hill House offers peaceful, elegant surroundings and superb, beautifully prepared breakfasts! Two Victorians side by side, built in the first years of the 1900's for one family, now offer 7 guest rooms, 5 with private bath. Each room glows with it's own soft hue and is distinctfully appointed with antiques, lace curtains, and lovely artwork. All guestrooms offer a comfortable queen sized bed dressed in hand pressed 100% cotton sheets and covered with a sumptuous down comforter in a beautiful cutwork or jacquard duvet - topped off with plenty of pillows. Many of the area attractions are located right downtown, such as the Space Needle, the Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, the waterfront, the Seattle Art museum, the Aquarium, the Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project, Symphony Hall, and the Opera House, not to mention several sports stadiums. From our location, you can walk to downtown and public transportation is readily available as well.

Services Offered
Hill House features an exceptional two course gourmet breakfast. Everything is prepared fresh that morning. The formal dining room, enriched with classical music, is set with china and crystal and each course is served with attention and care. Each entree is cooked to order such that dietary restrictions can be considered. Delicious coffee, juice, and locally homemade jams accompany the entrees which may include smoked salmon omeletes or oatmeal pancakes, all delicately prepared and beautifully garnished. Upon your arrival at the table, a first course such as fresh seasonal fruit in a cinnamon-zinfandel sauce or a tender baked apple with black cherry sauce will welcome you.

Other Information
Seattle offers a wealth of things to see and do during any time of the year. The bus system in Seattle is excellent - a great way to get around and see the sights. If you bring a car, you can drive to see the Hiram Locks or Snoqualmie falls - each not more than 1/2 hour away. Mt. Rainier, the Mountain Passes, and Hurricane Ridge - part of the Olympic Mountain range are within a few hours drive of Seattle. Even Vancouver, B.C., Canada is within a 3 hour drive or less. You can also take a ferry ride over to the peninsula for the afternoon - maybe drive over Deception Pass, or you can take a daytrip to Victoria on Vancouver Island by ferry. To enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and have some fun, you can take a river rafting excursion or rent kayaks or canoes at one of the nearby lakes, or just enjoy a great day-hike. There is so much to see and do in the Seattle area!
