Surrounding Area

We have six cottages located in one of the South's most photographed areas near Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest mountain. Swim or fish in our own, spring-fed pond (no license required) or nearby trout streams and we'll provide the barbecue to grill your "catch of the day". In the summer months you may enjoy a swim. Country roads with little traffic are ideal for casual walks or jogging.

Watch the moon rise above the north georgia mountains from the covered porch of a private cabin surrounded by dogwoods and meadows at this 70-acre hideaway. Each one to three-bedroom furnished cabin has a fireplace with one box of wood furnished to keep you cozy, fully equipped kitchen, private bath, telephone, color TV with DVD, washer & dryer, charcoal grill and covered porch.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

We have six cabins. Four cabins sleep 6 persons each; one sleeps 4 persons; one sleeps 8 persons. The cabin that sleeps 8 person has a bath and a half (main bath has a garden tub with shower). The other cabins have one bath with a shower.

Services Offered

Our cabins are "housekeeping" cabins -- which mean that guests can bring their own linens (sheets, pillowcases & towels) although we can provide linens for an additional charge of $6 per person, plus tax, one time charge.

We also ask our guests to leave the cabin clean like they find it.

No restrictions on smoking, children or pets -- although we ask our guests to follow our simple "pet rules" which can be found our our web site

Rates & Availability

Rates start at $80/day or $480/week for 2 persons in the LEDFORD cabin; rates in the other 5 cabins start at $90/day or $540/week for 2 persons. Add $5/day or $25/week for each additional person. Then add $12% tax.

Kids will love petting our dog, goats or other farm animals and there's always horseshoes, tetherball or a badminton game to play. A covered picnic pavillion by the lake, floating dock, open air Chapel, a small lending library are yours to enjoy. Several golf courses, canoeing, river rafting, craft shops & flea markets nearby.

You can hike the Appalachian Trail, explore Vogel State Park and Brasstown Bald, Georgia's tallest Peak, or pan for gold in nearby streams. Two hours distance from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Asheville, and Greenville, SC; 19 miles from the picturesque village of Helen, GA.

Our business is small enough to ensure each guest is treated with all the personal attention that is well deserved. Pride is taken in giving notice to all the details that make a visit away from home as enjoyable as possible. A frequent comment we hear from our first-time guests is that our cabins offer much more than they expected.

Directions

We are located 10 miles South of Blairsville, GA and about 100 miles nearly due North of Atlanta, GA. From Atlanta take I-75 North; then I-575; Hwy 515 to Blairsville; then US Hwy 19/129 South for 8 miles; GA Hwy 180 East for 1.2 miles; Wolfstake Rd W. for 1 mile; Horseshoe Cove Rd. West for 1/2 mile.
