Surrounding Area

Our property is located in the Collayomi Valley on the North slope of Mt St Helena, which looms over the northern end of the Napa Valley on its South side. This country is among the most pristine in this area, with much of the original forests remaining and the creeks running clear and clean. A huge Manzanita grove on our property is home to hundreds of California Quail. We are located 4 miles from Middletown, where there is fine dining, Crazy Creek Soaring, Harbin Hot Springs, a local brewery. Several fine antique stores and wineries are within easy driving or biking distance. Just 2 miles away is an Indian casino. Over the mountain to Calistoga, just 20 minutes away, brings you to a tremendous selection of of World Class wineries, restaurants and shopping.

Accommodations

The three cottages were built in 1997, when we opened our doors. The Innkeeper lives in the main house, located several hundred feet from the cottages. Landscaping is an ongoing project as we develop more areas into gardens and wetlands. Our pet ducks are a constant source of entertainment as are the hummingbirds and other birdlife.

Rooms/Suites

Each cottage is furnished with a King-sized bed with a skylight above. Each has a private bath. One of the cottages is wheelchair accessible with a shower big enough for a party! There is also a refrigerator and coffee maker in each. A TV and VCR is in each cottage and you have access to the Inn's extensive video collection. For your comfort there is a gas fireplace, air conditioner and overhead fan. A sliding glass door leads to a private redwood deck from which you look at lawns, gardens and Mt St Helena.

Amenities

The hot tub is very comfortable for two people. It is located on the outdoor deck of the main house. We invite you to soak in a hot tub under the clear skies of the mountains, watching the milky way; or enjoy your soak in a light rain.

We host breakfast in the dining room of the main house. If you want to use your computer, there is a phone line for internet access in your cottage.

Croquet is set-up on the lawn, in season, of course.

Services Offered

Certified Therapeutic Massage is available and it is best to make arrangements in advance. Special packages are available which include massage with your reservation.

Restrictions

No smoking inside, but you may smoke on your deck. No pets are permitted. Children are permitted on a limited basis. Ask for details.

Rates & Availability

$145.00 per night for two person occupancy. Cottages are available year-round

Other Information

You may cancel a reservation up to 3 days in advance of the check in time of the reservation, which is 3 pm. There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee charged to the credit card which was used to guarantee the reservation.

Check-in at 3 pm and Check-out at 11 am.

Directions

Most people approach our B&B from the South on Hwy 29. We are about 20 minutes from Calistoga, approximately 14 miles. You will go up and over Mt St Helena. As the road started to straighten out on the other side you will see a sign for Lake Co. Our turn is 2 miles past this sign...a right turn onto Hilderbrand Drive. Cross the creek and the road will curve to the left. Ours is the third driveway on your left.
