Our property is surrounded by tall Monterey pines, country gardens and water fountains. The main log house has only one guest room, the Clare. It also contains the garden room where a full breakfast is served and the meeting area where wine & hors d'oeurves are served in the early evening. Stroll through the garden and under the passionvine-covered pergola to seven additional guest rooms in the carriage house.

Description of Rooms/Suites

There are 8 guest rooms at the J. Patrick House. Each room is filled with antique furniture, woodburning fireplace and private bath. The rooms in the carriage house have queen beds and window seats. The Clare room in the main house has a king bed. Guests in the Clare room may also enjoy use of the living room, which also has a fireplace, after 7PM in the evening. Perfect for your relaxing, romantic getaway. Enjoy the unique decor of your room surrounded by Irish country comfort and amenities.

Amenities

Each morning a delicious full breakfast awaits you in the garden room. Begin with fresh squeezed orange juice and a hot beberage of your choice. A starter of local fruit is served with homemade granola, fresh plump raisens and delicious yogurt. A hot entree follows with fare such as Apple Pie Bread Pudding with Creme Fraiche, Vegi Strata with Salsa, Blintzes with Ollieberry Jam, Chili Corn Souffle or stuffed French Toast with pure Maple Syrup.
A tasty selection of wine & Hors d' oeurves are served in the early evening and "killer" chocolate chip cookies are served at bedtime.

From the south; Take the 101 North to San Luis Obispo. Take the highway 1 turnoff to Hearst Castle and Morrow bay. Turn right on Burton Drive. We are on the right.
From the North; Take Highway 1 South to Burton Drive in Cambria. Turn left on Burton. We are on the right.

We are 33 miles north of San luis Obispo and 6 miles south of San Simeon.
