Beechwood is located on Cape Cod's lovely North Shore, in the heart of the Old King's Highway Historic District. Antique shops, craft shops, museums, galleries, cranberry bogs, salt marshes and beaches are right outside our door. And its just a ten minute drive to Hyannis, the heart of the cape with shopping, night life, fine dining, the Kennedy compound and the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
Accommodations
Beechwood is a Queen Anne Victorian restored to its 1853 splendor.Surrounded by acres of lawns, gardens, perennial gardens and two magnificent Beech trees, this classic Victorian has a wrap-around veranda furnished with rockers and wicker. The inn is beautifully decorated with period antiques, a wood-paneled dining room and a parlor with fireplace, William Morris wallpaper and stained-glass windows.
Rooms/Suites
All 6 bedrooms are furnished with antiques. All are air-conditioned and have King or Queen beds, private baths, refrigerators and walk-in closets or armoires. Three rooms have fireplaces and tv's and three have year-round or seasonal views of Cape Cod Bay. An example is the spectacular Rose Room with a solid mahogany hand-carved canopy bed, a red velvet fainting couch and an Italian mahogany armoire. The Garret Room has an antique brass bed from the 1850's and an arched window with sweeping views of Cape Cod Bay. All rooms are pictured on our web site,

A stay at Beechwood includes a three course gourmet breakfast in the morning, afternoon refreshments and the services of the innkeepers - restaurant recommendations and reservations, touring tips and the sensitivity to leave romantic couples alone to enjoy themselves!
Restrictions
Beechwood does not accommodate children under 12 or pets. There is no smoking inside the inn. There is a two night minimum on most weekends, three nights on certain holidays and a two night minimum throughout the month of August. We are friendly to all adults of any size, shape, color and preferences. We enjoy PEOPLE who enjoy Beechwood!

Rates range from $160 to 180 from May through October, $95 to 130 from November through April. Call or email regarding availability.
Directions
From Route 6, the mid-cape highway, take exit 6 for Barnstable. Turn left onto Route 132 North until its end at a stop sign. Turn right onto Route 6A East for 1.7 miles. Beechwood is on the right.

From DECEMBER through MARCH, for SUNDAY through THURSDAY vists, the second night is half-price or the third night is free (except certain holiday periods).
