The peaceful and pristine setting, with a lagoon and estuary on two sides of the property and a National Park as a neighbour, makes the WATERSIDE Apartment ideal for bushwalking, bird watching, swimming, boating, fishing or simply relaxing. A approx. 6 km magnificent beach is an easy walk away, across a bridge over the estuary and through the neighbouring National Park. There is a pool and 1/2 sized tennis court. It is suitable for adult couples wishing to leave stress as far behind them as possible, or families with children requiring no longer supervision. All regional attractions are within easy reach.

All rooms have ceiling fans, master bedroom and lounge/dining area have airconditioning. Master bedroom has its own en-suite, the other two bed rooms share a bathroom.
The kitchenette is equipped for the cooking of simple meals and includes cookware, crockery, glassware and cutlery for 6 persons. There is a fridge/freezer, small baking oven with 2 hotplates above, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. In addition there is a gas BBQ available for guests in the private courtyard.

General information

We would like to warmly welcome you to the Waterside Holiday Apartment. Please take the time to read this information as it will assist you to make the most of your stay.


The Waterside Apartment is not in the centre of town and it is not easily possible to walk to shops etc. therefore your own transport is necessary. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Coffs Harbour centre, 5 minutes to the closest supermarket, post office and other shops/services and also about 5 minutes to the closest restaurants.


The property is some 7 acres of gardens bordering an estuary on two sides, which forms part of the Solitary Islands Marine Park. The building consists of two self-contained residences and the owners live in one while the other is available for holiday rentals.


A National Park neighbours the property and the ca 6 km long beach is reached via a bridge and path that cross the estuary and the Park.


This apartment is therefore particularly suitable for persons seeking to 're-charge their batteries' in a pristine environment, away from the hustle and bustle of town, but still within easy reach of its restaurants and other facilities. However, due to a number of aspects, including an unpatrolled beach and very close proximity to the estuary it is not suitable for families with children who still require supervision.


Booking Policy


A deposit of 25% of the full rental fee is required on booking. The remaining balance is then required 30 days prior to occupancy. All bookings within 30 days of arrival will be required to pay the full amount. For cancellations 30 days or more prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded immediately less 5% administration fee. Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival date incur the full cost, however a transfer to another date within 12 months of the original booking, is possible.

Payment may be made by direct deposit, money order, PayPal or personal cheque, however personal cheques must be cleared prior to arrival. We regret that we don't have credit card facilities at present.

The bedrooms are for a maximum of 2 persons only

Tariff includes: Initial linen, towels, etc additional linen/towels are $5 per item.

The initial cleaning charge is $65 and covers cleaning following your stay. If cleaning during the stay is required, the charge is $55 which includes a change of linen/Towels.

Parties & additional Guests: Please remember that the apartment is ideal for those seeking peace, quiet and nature. For this reason parties are not allowed. Additional guest, staying over night and not originally booked for, are charged in accordance with our Tariff Table. We advise that it is not legal and consequently not possible two accommodate more than two persons per bedroom.

Late check out/early check in: We endeavour to make your stay a memorable one and wherever possible we will accommodate your needs. If this is not possible due to other bookings, we will safely store your luggage.

Sorry No Pets (Guide Dogs excepted)

Smoking is restricted to outdoors only.

Replacement charge for lost keys is $90 per set (gate to beach and apartment entrance)
