Active Adventure
California whitewater rafting on Class III-V rivers throughout Northern & Central California. W.E.T. is permitted by the US Forest Service, US Bureau of Land Management, California State Parks & El Dorado County. Guided whitewater trips by professional guides. Find nirvana, go rafting!
Typical Day
For the American River system, we meet in Coloma/Lotus valley just one hour southwest of Tahoe or 3 hours east from San Francisco. W.E.T. starts the Southfork American River, a class III whitewater trip, at Chili Bar Reservoir. There, our expert guides navigate rapids called "Meatgrinder," "Triple Threat," & the infamous, "Troublemaker Rapid!" This first 10.5 mile stretch is adjacent to historical features such as Coloma State Park. The Gorge section is an 11-mile stretch through a beautiful & scenic canyon where non-stop class III whitewater challenges the beginner and provides unforgettable adventure memories! All meals are provided and camping is available.

Other rivers are available but are designed for more experienced whitewater rafters. Call for information or see our webs
