Over 37,000 subscribers participated in the magazines' annual survey of travel preferences. Victoria jumped to 6th place on the list of "top foreign cities" to visit that included Sydney, Rome, Florence, Paris and Venice. Victoria rated 1st overall for "environment and ambience." Vancouver Island appeared 17th in the top 20 Islands category; the only "non-tropical island" to make the list. Vancouver Island was rated 5th in the world for "friendliness and people;" 7th in the world for "scenery and environment."

Accommodations

The Sea Rose was built in 1921 and completely renovated in 1987. Our home, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, is tastefully decorated.


We offer three one-bedroom ocean view tastefully appointed condominium units completely furnished. Each suite is fully equipped, including kitchen facilities.

Sunrise Suite - bachelor suite with canopy bed, private bathroom, kitchenette, T.V., reading table & chairs. (South-east sea view, 2nd level)

Searose Suite - one bedroom with king-size or twin beds, private bathroom, living room with sofa bed, T.V., dining area and kitchen. (South-east sea view, ground level)

Seaview Suite - one bedroom with queen-size bed, private bathroom, living room with sofa bed, T.V., dining area and kitchen. (South & west sea view, ground level)

Skylite Suite - spacious one bedroom with queen-size, private bathroom, living room with sofa bed, T.V., dining area and kitchen. (South sea view, city view, 8 skylights, upper level)

Amenities

We are located near bus routes and the beach. Shops and restaurants are within a 12 minute stroll. It is a 20 minute walk to the heart of downtown Victoria, the Inner Harbour.

Services Offered

A full hot and nutritious breakfast is served every morning at 8:30. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice.

Daily room service is provided.

Two of our suites are handicap/wheelchair accessible.

Smoking is not allowed inside the Sea Rose.
