Painswick is a beautiful small unspoilt Cotswold town set in glorious countryside.there are pubs that do good food and a few small shops.The church is 14thcentury and has unique table top tombs and 250 year old yew trees .There is a victorian fair held every July.The ancient ceremony of Clypping (Circling )the Church is held in September.THe Rococo Gardens in Painswick House have wonderful snowdrops and a new maze.There is Berkeley Castle,Sudeley Castle Eastnor Castle, Hidcote Manor Gardens,Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust within 25 miles or so.

An Old Cotswold stone house with old beams and woodburning stovesWas an old clothmill but there is no machinery left now.Just acomfy home with 3 rooms to let.A lounge with colour t.v.and roaring log fire in winter and cold summer evenings.A beautiful garden with stream running through and a large Koi carp pond.Our tortoise Topsy is around in the summer but sleeps through winter.We have a cat.

Map on website.On A46 between Stroud and Cheltenham.From North Into Painswick opposite church just past the Falcon Hotel turnright down Edge road Half a mile to bottom of hill road goes over stream andthen you will see our sign on right and you then drive across the drive to the house.We are not near the road so it is very peaceful and quiet.
