History and scenic beauty abound in this truly gorgeous setting of the Snowdonia national park where the River Dovey makes its way to the sea at Aberdovey.Surrounded by mountains, we have spectacular views overlooking the river. We are just eight miles over the mountain pass from Dolgellau and 12 miles from the pretty market town of Machynlleth. The coast is a half hour drive away. The old stables and coach house originally served the Buckley estate, playing an important role in the developement of this -purpose built hamlet which once had its own private railway and station terminus. The stables and coach house have been beautifully restored to provide guest accommodation.

Accommodations

Guests stay in character bedrooms which have been modernised to a high standard. Single and double rooms are available.

Restrictions

Well behaved dogs are welcomed.

Bed and breakfast is from £22 for a single bedroom , and £42 for a double bedroom. Self catering facilities are also available. We are open all year round.

Directions

From the A458 Welshpool to Dolgellau road, turn right at the Malwydd traffic island towards Dolgellau. On reaching Meirion MIll, approximately one mile away, turn right at the Buckley Pines into the hamlet of Minllyn.The Coach House and Stables are situated approximately 200 yards on the right.
