Surrounding Area
Corvallis, the heart of the Willamette Valley, is the center for exploring Oregon wineries. We grow great Pinot Noir and other fine wines. Enjoy the valley on your bike or tandem, seeing covered bridges and mountians. Hiking in MacDonald Forest, Mary's Peak or area wildlife areas is also a treat. The Oregon Coast is an hour west and the Cascade Mountains are two hours east. Downtown Corvallis contains restaurants, coffee shops and bookstores for after an active day.
