Description of Surrounding Area

Located in mountains near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Activities include hiking, flyfishing, lake fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, nature photography, wildflower viewing, scenic mountain roads, and just plain relaxing by the branch. TreeTops is secluded on 20 acres with babbling brook running through the front yard. Build a camp fire, pan for gold, dig for arrowheads, enjoy the mountain air.

TreeTops was built in 1976 and has been periodically updated with all the modern conveniences. Especially enjoyable is the huge open porch and open deck which has a railing to keep pets or children from wandering off. The house is two stories with a basement. It is not recommended for handicapped or elderly unless you plan to stay in the house.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

TreeTops has four (4) bedrooms. Two upstairs bedrooms each have two full sized beds. One downstairs bedroom has one full sized bed. The other downstairs bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a futon in the living room.

Amenities

TreeTops has color television with Direct TV, VCR, DVD, full kitchen with diswasher, microwave, range, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, cookbook, mixer, blender, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware. Gas grill on deck, Large open wood burning fireplace and firewood is provided in winter months. House has central air and heat. Both full baths are individually heated.

Services Offered

Firewood provided in winter. Cleaning included in price. Linens, towels, and papre goods included with rental.

Restrictions

Well behaved pets are welcomed at no extra charge.

Rates & Availability

Weekly rentals April through October and Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years weeks $750 for 4 people or less, $850 for 5 people or more.
Weekly rentals November through March $650 for 4 people or less, $750 for 5 people or more.Daily rentals have three day minimum and run from $125 - $175.
Reservations held with $200 deposit which is credited to rent on arrival. Taxes 7% state, 3% local

Directions

Located just off Highway 143 near the Cherohala Skyway. Less than a mile to Lake Santeetlah.
