Surrounding Area
There is so much to see and enjoy in our lovely area including antiquing, museums, caverns, Civil War sites, vineyards and fine restaurants. Sports include golf on our local 27 hole golf course, tennis, fishing in the Shenandoah river, hiking in the George Washington Natl. Forest (3 miles) or the Skyline Drive and Shenandoah Natl. Park (19 miles). There is also snow and grass skiing nearby as well as river rafting.
Accommodations
The Inn is a late victorian white clapboard with 2 acres of garden. The interior is spacious and elegant with hardwood floors and old family furnishings. Fireplaces are located in the living room and guest parlor as well as an antique gaming table with chess and backgammon.
Rooms/Suites
The Inn features bedrooms with English floral wallpapers and tasteful antiques, including four-poster and canopy beds with cozy down comforters. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. Some bedrooms have fireplaces or jacuzzi tubs.

Feel free to relax in the jacuzzi outside on the terrace.

Our Austrian tradition of hospitality includes afternoon coffee/tea with Mary-Lloyd's famous apple strudel.

We welcome you and your family of any age. We ask that you do not smoke in our home, however it is permitted on the terrace and grounds. We are sorry that we can only accommodate the human members of your family, please no pets.
