Typical Day

For Budget travelers we provide all equipment, like
2 pers. tents, mattresses, sleeping bags, etc. Our tourleaders and drivers are exceedingly well prepared for this work and can handle a tour all by themselves. Our Staff and drivers know every hidden corners in Gobi desert and in Mongolia. All our staff are good cooks and even bake Gambir (bread) for breakfast, speak very good Spanish and English, know the routes and the timing for each day and are friendly, polite and cooperative.

Age range, type of group

Groups: We currently arrange group holidays for a number of organisations and social clubs; charities, friends and families, walking clubs or military groups, and are dedicated to working with the group leader or charity representative in providing you with the highest possible standard of service.

To classify as a group, we usually require a minimum of between 4 and 12 clients (depending on the trip) and while we prefer to keep with the same maximum number as stated in the brochure, we can often accommodate larger numbers. Please bear in mind that as a specialist in arranging responsible small group adventure tours, we are often limited by the size of our accommodation or transport, but we will endeavour to accommodate your group wherever possible.

Tailor-made tours: For those with special interests, Samar Magic Tours offers a variety of carefully planned, tailor-made tours. Each programme is handled by an experienced team, which also arranges meetings with similar interest is special, so is the tour

Sleeping and meals

Price to include the following:
 Specified nights at 1st class hotels in double room in Ulaanbaatar.
 Specified nights at tourist base camp (traditional-style nomadic tents).
 Specified B-breakfasts, L-lunches and D- dinners.
 Private vehicle, included the patrol and the Mongolian speaking driver.
 Sightseeing programme including all entrance fees.
 One full day of horseback riding close to "Chinggis" Tourist Base Camp.
 One Mongolian traditional folk songs concert in UB.
 Camel Safari in Hongoryn sand dunes in Gobi.
 Services of English speaking guides.

Rates

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: The Tour Fare shall be paid no later than 75-65 days prior to the eve of the departure date (TO GUARANTEE ALL SERVICES, internal flights, the accommodation at hotels in Ulaanbaatar ) by Bank wire transfer to our account . Payment by check or credit card will not accepted, due the the Mongolian Bank conditions. When application is made on or after the 75 days prior to the eve of the day the tour starts, the tour fare shall be paid before departure by a date designated by SMT.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS FOR NAADAM FESTIVAL TOURS:
If cancellation notice is given:
74 to 29 days prior to departure: 50% of Land Cost
28 days or less prior to departure: 100% of Land Cost

"CHINGGIS" TOURIST CAMP: Located in the Tuul Valley, this majestic setting with its green hills and flocks of sheep was reminiscent of Ireland. Most people think of Mongolia as desert, and indeed, the southern part is. Here, though, about 55 km eastern of Ulaan Baatar it was all hills, rivers, and valleys with mountains in the background.
