
Surrounding Area
We are located 45 miles south of Missoula, Montana in the Bitterroot Valley. We have 150 acres at the end of a dirt road adjacent to the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, the largest wilderness in the 48 states below Canada. We have 5 blue ribbon trout streams within a short drive from the lodge and there are more than 30 trails for hiking and horseback riding in the Bitterroot Valley. Also within a short drive is a buffalo range, wildlife refuge, Lewis and Clark Trail, and various historical sites. Golf and tennis is available locally.
Accommodations
This exquisite lodge was constructed in 1991 with massive logs harvested from the 1988 Yellowstone fire. The property is heavily timbered and is bordered by our own Bear Creek to the south and the Bitterroot Forest to the west. It is so quiet here it is easy to forget that there are other people sharing this world.

Rooms/Suites
Each of our eight guest rooms has a private bath, and seperate door to the surrounding forest. The tasteful decore is unique in each room with antique furnishings and original art.
Amenities
The lodge has an eligant living room, dining room, conference room, libary, pool table, excersise room, and sauna. A massive, redwood deck opens off the dining room.
Services Offered
Three delicious meals including wine and hors d'oeurves are included with the lodging. The evening meals have been featured in "Bon Appetit" and "Gourmet" magazines.
Restrictions
Childern under 13 are not usually booked unless the entire lodge is taken by a single group. Pets are only allowed by prior permission.
Rates & Availability
We are open from March 15 through October 31. The all inclusive nightly rate is $275 single occupancy and $390 double occupancy. There is a three night minimum stay.
Other Information
The majority of our guest fly into Missoula on Delta, United, Alaska, or Northwest airlines. A rented car is used to get to the lodge and access the numerous activities in the Bitterroot Valley.
