Active Adventure

Travel on the ROLANO to the Gulf Islands, which include Galiano, Mayne, Saturna, Moresby, Prevost, Coal and Salt Spring Islands. Take an orientation paddle to see some of the intricate network of waterways throughout the islands. Come aboard, shower, rest and relax. Wine and dine with a dinner cruise to our next destination.

After breakfast, kayaking adventures begin! Catch sights of white sandy beaches, quiet coves and bays. Many of these places are sheltered and excellent for kayaking. With secluded beaches and white sand, have the option of taking your lunch ashore for a quiet lunch, or meet with the mothership. Take a swim in the warm waters, look at the sea life. Return to the ROLANO for a night of fine food, wine and socializing!

Nearing the end of our week, we wind down the activity to prepare for disembarking back to where we started a week earlier. We start to miss you already!

Take the return trip home to Victoria/Vancouver on the MIghty ROLANO. Happy Kayaking! Hope to see you again soon.

Typical Day

After a hearty breakfast, launch kayaks and get reasy for your daily adventure. Catch sights of the sealife and birds such as harelquin ducks, loons, sandpipers, herons and others. A great place for seeing the Orca (killer whale).

Sights of First Nations History of at least 5000 years.

Have the choice of lunch aboard the ship, or take lunch ashore. More paddling after lunch, rendevous with the ROLANO in the later afternoon. Shower, relax, snacks before dinner. Wine and dine with a dinner cruise to our next destination.
Enjoy great west coast cuisine, fine wine, and entertaining crew.

Sleeping and meals

On~deck salon~library~lounge~dining area. Accommodation of 10 berths features 2 private cabins, each with a double and single berth. Two heads (bathrooms) and two showers.
Salon seats eight, galley seats seven, Fresh caught salmon, halibut, crab, cod and tuna are items on the menu.

Restrictions

NO SMOKING in covered areas of the ship.
