Active Adventure

We offer quality sea kayak expeditions to 6 different areas around Vancouver Island, considered one of the finest places in the world for paddling. Our trips require no experience and a moderate fitness level.

Typical Day

A typical day on one of our expeditions involves several hours of paddling in the morning after a sumptuous breakfast. We stop for lunch by mid-day, allowing for beach explorations, wildlife viewing/photography, fishing, swimming, reading that book...whatever you wish. In the afternoon we usually paddle another couple of hours before setting up camp or returning to our existing camp. The late afternoons are for various personal activities, group activities and after dinner, a cozy campfire, the gorgeous sunsets and a canopy of stars overhead.

Age range, type of group

Our trips tend to range in age from mid twenties to late fifties. We do cater to family trips and welcome custom trips.

Sleeping and meals

All our expeditions with the exception of our Lodge based Vargas Island Inn tour and our Clayoquot Sound tour are camping. Our meals are fantastic!!!
