Surrounding Area

Akumal is a small beachside community of homes, condominiums, and restaurants. There is a beach bar, grocery stores,and other amenities in Akumal. Nearby is the town of Playa del Carmen with access to Cozumel. Playa also has discos, many restaurants, and a supermarket. Nearby are the Mayan Ruins of Tulum and Coba, and Chichen Itza is 3 hours away by car. Golf and tennis are also nearby as is Xcaret and Xel-Ha entertainment parks.

Vacation Rental Property

The house rents either as a three or four bedroom. All rooms look out to the ocean, and the sunrises are spectacular. Stargazing at night is wonderful. There is a path which leads right to the water.

There are four bedrooms, three with queen size beds, and one with two double beds. All rooms have a bathroom, and there is also a day bed in the hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, toaster-oven, oven, and refrigerator. There is daily maid service included (except for Sunday), and meal service can be requested for an extra charge.

The house is very private and many of guests have commented how peaceful and relaxed they find themselves away from the hectic world.
