Inverness is a lovely town in the heart of the Highlands with excellent road, rail and air links and is an ideal base as most places of interest are easily accessible. There are challenging golf courses, historic castles, solitary walks in the mountains, beautiful scenery, numerous distilleries to visit, the famous Loch Ness & all within easy reach of Inverness.
There are also plenty of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. We are happy to recommend and make reservations at local restaurants.
Accommodations
Lovely Victorian detached home built circa 1876, standing in it's own grounds of mature attractive gardens. Ballifeary House has been awarded the top grade of "5 Star Guest House" by the Scottish Tourist Board and "5 Diamonds" by the Automobile Association. The hotel is in an immaculate condition throughout, tastefully decorated and furnished, providing every modern comfort whilst still maintaining the charm of it's past. There is a beautiful Lounge in which to relax and an elegant Dining Room where excellent Scottish Breakfasts are served each morning. The hotel also has a Residential Liquor Licence.

There are a total of five bedrooms, all are tastefully decorated to compliment the period of the house and all have ensuite bathrooms, colour TV, Alarm/radio, cental heating, hospitality tray, hair dryer etc. All rooms are in the original building.
