Description of Surrounding Area

The Olympic Peninsula of Washington State offers a large variety of unique sites to see or adventures to participate in. Fishing, sailing, kayaking, hiking, backwoods drives, waterfalls, rain forests, and numerous forms of wildlife await you. There are many small towns with their own unique ammenities from antique stores, handcrafted items, and other interesting places to dine and shop.

Each is a little different but they all have one thing in common: the guests come first and each of our hosts makes every attempt to make your visit an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Some are on saltwater, others on lakes, ponds, or just back in the woods. Each has its own individual ambiance that will help you to enjoy your Olympic experience.

We provide the most attractive lodging around the Olympic Peninsula. No matter what kind of place you are looking for, a romantic getaway or family vacation, we have it all!

Rental places like Paradise Bay Chalet (sleeps 2 -5), Sunrise Cottage, Bay Cottage Getaway which are located in very private land (waterfront, surrounded by trees), perfect for couples to stay.

Family with children can be accommodated at the Leland Lake House with 3 bedrms 2 baths or Cottage Peaks which can accommodate up to 8 comfortably. Villa Vista located near Port Angeles is also a very unique lodging for a family of 4 or 5.

Olympic Suites Inn (has 1 or 2 bedroom units w/ full kitchens) and Summertide Resort (5 Cottages and RV campground) are perfect for family reunions.

Amenities

Most have a television and VCR, several have satellite TV as well. Telephones are generally available for local calls, all but our B&B's have either kitchen facilities or kitchenettes. Several have hot tubs, row boats, canoes, etc. for your use. Fireplaces and wood buring stoves are more the rule than the exception. Even outdoor campfires are generally available as well.

Services Offered

Although not included, most services can be arranged. This includes accepting deliveries of shipped packages if you want to surprise someone with a special gift. Catering, massages, maid service, tour guides, etc., are all available at extra cost but reasonable. Just let us know!

Restrictions

Generally smoking is allowed outdoors only. Some do allow pets with prior approval.

Rates & Availability

Rates vary according to number of nights, number of guests, and the time of year of time of the week. They range from $75 per night for a couple in one place to $200 per night for a family of 8 in another.

Discounts Offered

Each Special Getaway site offers its own discounts and varies by time of year and number of nights booked (some have weekly or monthly rate). Example: 3 nights for the price of 2 during weekdays (Sun-Thur) during Oct-May. Another might just lower their peak rates by 25% during non-peak times.
