Lakeside Country Inn is located on the shores of Kamloops Lake, half an hour from the city of Kamloops. The area is known for its great weather and semi arid climate. Kamloops Lake is a large lake--18 miles long by 1 mile accross. Take a hike in the hills, explore the Deadman Valley, hike to the base of the hoodoos or the Savona Balancing Rock.

Lakeside Country Inn offers country charm--a country decor with a wonderful location on the lake in the country. Enjoy the view from a lounger in the gardens or an adirondack at the beach. Picnic tables and fire pits at the beach allow you to enjoy the unique location.

Rooms/Suites

Choose from lake view rooms with a queen bed or two twin beds and a private balcony or larger kitchen suites. Our kitchen suites are all unique. Choose from a spacious room on the top floor with queen beds, kitchen and large balcony; a one bedroom kitchen suite with a queen bed and queen hideabed and balcony; or a two bedroom kitchen suite with double bed and two twin beds. This suite opens up on the garden level and is great for families. A smaller kitchen suite with double bed and double hideabed is cozy and quaint.

Services Offered

The Garden Cafe is open for a continental breakfast during the summer months. The Garden Cafe is glass enclosed with a wonderful view of the lake, mountains and gardens and is a relaxing way to start the day. Guests are offered bed and breakfast rates or room only rates.

Restrictions

All of rooms are non smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke out of doors.

Rates during the high season range from $99.50 to $169.50 Canadian plus taxes. Bed and Breakfast as well as room only rates are available.

Directions

Lakeside Country Inn is located in the town of Savona, off the # 1 Trans Canada Highway. Lakeside Country Inn is on the Savona Access Road which joins the #1 Trans Canada at either end of town. If you are travelling west, turn right at the Savona Super Save Gas Station and follow the Savona Access Road for 1 kilometer. If you are travelling east, turn left after the Thompson River bridge and follow the Savona Access Road for 4 kilometers. Signage at either end of town makes Lakeside Country Inn easy to find.
