Adjoining the pristine Gila National Forest, Double E Guest Ranch is just 30 minutes northwest from historic Silver City, New Mexico. Open year round, Double E Ranch offers cattle roundups, exciting horseback trips into the Gila Wilderness, clinics in Roping and other cattle related activities.

Typical Day

Our day begins at 7 a.m. when we invite our guests to help feed livestock, groom and saddle their horses. After a hearty breakfast, saddle up for a scenic trail ride or to work cattle. Back to Headquarters in the late afternoon to prepare for a home cooked supper and relaxing evening spent around a campfire with other guests, sharing the days' events.

Age range, type of group

Double E Ranch is small, with a guest capacity of 14 or less. We recommend children be at least 8 years old, with riding experience. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced riders are all welcome. Whatever your skill level, it's sure to improve by the end of your visit!

Sleeping and meals

Each Guesthouse ammenites include queen and full sized beds, micro waves, coffee pots, bed linens and towels, full bath. Meals are served home cooked and "family style" at Headquarters, featuring our own beef and buffalo meats. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate vegetarian diets.

Restrictions

All guesthouses are non-smoking. Guests are invited to bring their own alcoholic beverages; drinking or smoking while on a horse will not be allowed. Sorry, we cannot accept pets.

Rates

Our rates are $170 per night. The appropriate state sales tax and 15% grautity will be added at the time of booking.
