Malolo House is on Helensville's main steet, next to bank, shops, pioneer museum, boutique brewery, and excellent restaurants and cafes. Close to Muriwai Beachand its Gannet colony, West Auckland wineries, a macadamia nut farm, Parakai's thermal hot pools, and horse trekking,we overlook the Kaipara River Valley.

Accommodations

Malolo House was built in 1904 as a doctor's residence, and has recently been restored with ensuites, a spa pool, and spacious Guest Lounge with games, library, tea, coffee, and complimentary port. A separate cottage hospital wing was added in the 1920's, and there are bedrooms with shared facilities (kitchen, toilets and showers) and a common verandah overlooking the Kaipara River Valley.

Rooms/Suites

The Kauri Room is tastefully decorated, and has an ensuite and Queen size bed. The Kowhai Room has ensuite, Queen and a single bed. The cottage hospital win has 3 double rooms, 2 twins, and 1 room with 2 sets of bunk beds.

Amenities

Malolo House has a spa pool with fabulous views, there are bicycles and kayaks available for guest use. Our guest lounge has conference facilities, and can comfortably accommodate up to 20 around a table, or more in theatre-style seating.

Ensuites are $105 per couple, including a lavish Kiwi-Canadian breakfast.
