Built of local stone Buttercup Cottage offers beautiful accommodation and can include a delicious breakfast by arrangement. Beautifully appointed, the cottage has two bedrooms, each with ensuite, overlooks a small lake to the mountains. Corner spa bath to main bedroom. One of only eight AAA Tourism five star rated bed and breakfast cottages in Victoria. Suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

Rooms/Suites

Main bedroom offers Queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with double spa bath, also a shower bathroom suitable for people with disabilities is accessible from the main bedroom. Second bedroom offers a King size bed and ensuite shower bathroom. King bed can unzip to two single beds if you prefer. An extra charge applies to use of the second bedroom.

Amenities

Cottage offers satellite television, DVD and video recorder, CD/cassette stereo player, full kitchen including electric stove, micro wave oven, dishwasher. Relax in front of the wood heater or use the split system heater/air conditioner. Barbecue and outdoor seating is an ideal way to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Services Offered

Port and chocolates welcome you. If you have chosen the breakfast option your breakfast hamper is provided for you to cook when you wish. The breakfast menu includes a choice of cereals, two fruit juices, home made bread, croissants, jams, eggs, bacon, sausages, tomato, smoked salmon and Hollandaise sauce, herb mushrooms, waffles, pancakes etc. Coffee and tea of course. We can organise your activity bookings for you. We offer a small cellar of locally produced wines for purchase.

Buttercup Cottage & Private Apartment is a smoke free establishment. You are welcome to smoke outside. Should you wish to bring a pet we can organise his/her accommodation at either of our local kennels or cattery.
