We have the expertise to coordinate any local activities, such as fishing, golf, trophy-hunting, rafting, jet-boating, tramping, horse-trekking, heli-skiing, or simply being pampered at the famous Thermal Springs nearby, with their massage facilities and Hot Mineral pools. We recommend a stay of at least two nights to enjoy at least some of these attractions. Advice and guidance on the rest of your South Island itinerary is also available, and we may be able to provide suggestions and opportunities which you may have overlooked.

Accommodations

Built in 1985 out of Canadian Cedar and local natural timbers, the sun-catching floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed wooden beams offer a relaxing warmth and unpretentious atmosphere in which to escape the pressures of 21st-century living.

Rooms/Suites

Guest accommodation is provided in 14 tastefully-appointed suites, with a choice of double, twin and super king-sized beds. Each suite, with its own private facilities including bath and shower,has a magnificent view overlooking the adjacent Hanmer Basin to the bush and snow-capped mountains of the nearby Hanmer Range and Southern Alps.
