Accommodations

The main house is a large gothic revival villa with a 65 foot tower built in 1869 by John McCreary, a wealthy Philadelphia coal baron. In 1873 he built the cottage next door in second empire mansard style for his son George and his family. Main house is listed on the national register; cottage fearured in Cape May's QUEEN of THE SEASIDE RESORTS.

Rooms/Suites

All rooms have private baths and are filled with period victorian antiques.Many bathrooms feature antique fixtures including pedestal sinks and claw footed tubs.Most rooms with queen bed, one with King, two with one double and one with two doubles.

Amenities

Beach chairs and beach passes ( when we win the city's appeal of our Superior court win of their discriminatory ordinance preventing Inns from providing seasonal tags to their guests) are provided to guests in season. Bike racks on premises. Bike rentals nearby.

Out call massage service available from licenced practitioner. Staff on duty to answer resturant and activity questions.

Restrictions

No pets please. You can use our downstairs Kitties. Note cats are not allowed upstairs or in rooms and they know it.
Well behaved children 12years old or over are welcomed. Smoking allowed on outside verandas only. No TV's or radios in room:bring someone you love. House phones in each house on first floor benearh stairway.

Rates & Availability

Rates vary from $95-$250/ night double or single occupancy. Two, three or four night weekends are required depending on the season. The inn is open from Easter or the first weekend in April, whichever comes first through the second or third weekend in December.

Other Information

Cancellation policy very liberal: refund of deposit less$20 if entire vacancy is refilled. No time limit on cancellation.
