MAGNETAWAN is a historical village located midpoint on a 78-km stretch of the newly developed Trans Canada Trail. Explore ghost towns, turn of the century cemeteries, corduroy roads, and abandoned homesteads along this picturesque roadway. The quiet country roads surrounding Magnetawan are ideal for mountain biking, driving, hiking and horseback riding, and become a blaze of colour during the fleeting days of autumn. An abundance of birds and wildlife can be observed throughout the year. Your bird book and binoculars are a must! Numerous lakes and rivers offer boating, swimming, fishing and just plain relaxing. Pickerel,pike, bass and trout will provide the avid or recreational fisherman hours of enjoyment.

Three season water front cottage. The bathroom is full 4 piece and private hot tub on a deck overlooking the water. One kingsize bed, an optional rollaway is available. Amenities include: bar fridge,in a small kitchenette; comfortable furnishings; hardwood floor, colour t.v; wood burning fireplace, electric heat in each room, bed linen and blankets; 2 outdoor chairs; picnic table;
COTTAGE-#9 Large 2 Bedroom cottage

Fully winterized cottage. The bathroom is full and private. Double bed in one bedroom, Queen bed in 2nd bedroom, an optional rollaway is available. Amenities include: private 4 person hot tub on an enclosed deck, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and coffee maker; comfortable furnishings; colour t.v; wood burning fireplace, electric heat in each room, a gas furnace, bed linen and blankets; 2 outdoor chairs; picnic table; propane BBQ on a deck.
