13 en suite rooms, all with fully tiled bathrooms with bathtub and shower. Each room is individually decorated, some are the original grand apartments of the old house, while others are smaller, but no less comfortable and cosy. Each room has a well stocked welcome tray; Sky TV; hairdryer; iron and ironing board; complementary Neutrogena toiletries; huge fluffy towels; clock radio. DVD & CD player available. Of the 13 rooms, there is one Honeymoon Room - pictured on this site - with four poster bed and magnificent bow window; 5 rooms with Double and Single bed; 1 room with Double and two Single beds; 5 Double bedded rooms and 1 Single bedded room. Some rooms can accommodate an additional bed in addition to those mentioned. Each room is well decorated, warm and comfortable.

Amenities

The Lochside Restaurant has a magnificent bow window overlooking Campbeltown Loch, it retains all its original features including an unusual ceiling cornice featuring swallows and ivy leaved swags. The food is second to none - for miles around - and the Chef is constantly offering new freshly caught options direct from the sea nearby. Free WiFi in all rooms, and public areas, as well as a dedicated PC and printer for guest use. Limited conference facilities.

Room service available for breakfast and dinner, or drinks/ice. Early breakfast / late dinner / packed lunches by arrangement. All types of dietary requirement catered for. There are always vegetarian options. Prior notice is appreciated.

Golf drying facilities are available if required. A one stop shop for accommodation, local transport (taxi or car hire) and bookings with Machrihanish GC & Springbank Distillery - just contact Lori. Machrihanish Dunes prefer direct client bookings.

Directions

Fly with Flybe from Glasgow - Campbeltown 25 mins. Mon-Fri two flights daily. Drive from Glasgow 3 hours. Drive from Edinburgh 4 hours.
To hotel from A83 - take first left to Carradale on entering Campbeltown itself; proceed along half mile then take right fork to beach 20 mph limit, when left fork starts to rise on road to Carradale. From Carradale, take second left on entering Campbeltown. Proceed 500 yards along Low Askomil (seashore) to hotel on left.
