Active Adventure

Over 14 days, we visit four national parks and the South-West New Zealand World Heritage area. We hike along deserted golden beaches, through ancient rainforests, over an advancing glacier, and hut-to-hut along the world famous Routeburn Track. We also swim with the dolphins at Kaikoura, scale the Fox Glacier, and investigate magnificent Milford Sound by air and water.

Typical Day

A good hearty breakfast provided by our lodging, a morning rainforest hike followed by a picnic lunch, an extended afternoon hike amidst waterfalls, glaciers, and rivers in one of the national parks, a brief stop at a lakeside winery followed by a convivial and hearty dinner at a local restaurant.
