Surrounding Area

Zihuatanejo has 14 miles of sandy beaches and has all the water sports available as well as horseback, ocean fishing and two 18 hole golf courses. Zihua's sister city Ixtapa (4 miles away) has an active nightlife - Carlos & Charlies, Senior Frogs, Aqutic Park, while Zihua offers more tame entertainment such as Mexican folk music and salsa, as well as two movie houses (in English).

Vacation Rental Property

La Casa de la Amistad "The House of Friendship" is located on a lovely cobblestone street that is conviently located 1 1/2 blocks to the beach and a two minute walk into downtown. It is a two bedroom home with living area, kitchen & one bathroom (shower - yes with hot water, not always available in all homes here!) and a covered patio in the rear of the house for smokers.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The rooms are spacious (about 15 x 18) with a queen bed and are simply decorated and have a ceiling fan. The living area is decorated in oriental style with bamboo furniture. (No phone or TV)

Amenities

We (due to popular demand) have opened our breakfast portion of our B & B to the public, there is a tropical patio cafe that is adjoined to the home for outdoor breakfast dining.

We offer daily maid service and referrals for all other activities and services desired (massage, laundry, doctors/dentists, restaurants, tours).
