Tour historic homes, visit museums and galleries or take a horse and carriage ride through the historic district. Lots of nearby antique shops. Beautiful sandy beaches and world-class golf are within a 15-30 minute drive.

Accommodations

Each of the seven guestrooms creates its own individual ambiance. Accomodations include queen or king beds, private modern bathrooms, central heat and air conditioning and comfortable furniture for relaxing in the rooms. The Parlor, Library and sitting room on the third floor are always available for guests to relax. There are two televisions in the house available to guests, one in the library and one in the sitting room on the third floor. Guests may also enjoy the rocking chairs on the spacious wrap around front porch or wicker seating on the second floor veranda overlooking the gardens and pond.

Rooms/Suites

Five guestrooms, one with whirlpool, two suites, all private baths. The suites have king size bed, decorative fire place and sitting room with wicker furniture. All rooms have a phone with dataport. The entire house is also equipped with wireless high speed internet.

Amenities

For your additional comfort and relaxation, amenities include TV/cable available, clock radio/CD player, blow dryer, ceiling fan, full-length mirror, iron and ironing board, extra pillow and blanket. Guest refrigerator with complimentary beverages and snacks is available at all times.

Sorry, no pets. Please note our resident cat, Smokey. Boarding for pets can be arranged. Smoking outside only.

Rates & Availability

Rates range from $135 - $175 per night, double occupancy. Third person in room $25.00 additional (only The Louisianna Room can sleep 3 people) . Two night minimum on most weekends. Reservations suggested two to three weeks in advance.

We are located close to Market Street, easily accessible from Interstate 40, and state highways 74, 76, 17 and 421. We are 10 minutes away from Wilmington International Airport. Call for directions.
