We hated to leave We hated to leave the Cape and return to our real lives and jobs in Ct. Mondays are always hard, but this Monday was made more difficult by fond memories of last weekend at the Colonial House Inn. I found myself daydreaming about Baked Stuffed Shrimp on a bed of rice, the Seafood Special, the Chicken Marsala, the baked breads etc. in the a.m., the quiet sitting porch and the yellow daffodils, the canopy bed in RM 107. The Inn has a special kind of atmospere that we appreciate, if only for a while. Thanks for a wonderful time! Chris Sarnecky

Description of Surrounding Area

Yarmouthport is centrally located on Cape Cod, on historic Old Kings Highway. It offers excellent year round restaurants, theatre, entertainment and dancing, golf courses, tennis courts, churches, antique shops and many historic points of interest. The Inn is convenient to both fresh and salt water beaches. The rates are $90.00- $155.00 Fr, for two people per day including Breakfast and Dinner (full menu excellent food).

The Colonial House Inn is a full service Country Inn with a public restaurant and lounge, open year round, in the center of Cape Cod on Historic Route 6 A. A registered Historic landmark with 2l rooms. All rooms have private baths, free wireless DSL, TVs,VCR's telephones, Data Port, air conditioning, canopy beds and antiques. Other amenities include, heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi, Free Computer Business Center, sun deck, beautiful garden sitting area with waterfall and fountain, year round restaurant, lounge with full liquor. All public areas and some rooms are handicapped accessible. Function rooms seat up to 150, with an outdoors-garden area available for Weddings and Receptions. Within walking area are nature walking trails, golf, tennis, fresh and salt water beaches and antique shops.

Directions

Take: Expressway South, Route 3 south, Cape Cod, stay on Route 3 till it ends at the Sagamore rotary. Go half way around rotary and over Bridge. Then you will be on Route 6 heading east. Take route 6 to exit 7 off ramp turn right on Willow St.. Take Willow St. to Route 6-A, turn right on 6-A for about one mile on right to the Colonial House Inn. From Logan Airport: Follow signs to the Ted Williams Tunnel then procced as above.
