This is a funky old Victorian home. Really old New Orleans.
See the movie Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt-- very special. Our place is smaller, but has that old New Orleans feel to it. We have not ripped out the walls and put up dry wall. It's the old plaster.
Bathrooms are old style too. But, unpretentious :-)
Large airy rooms with ceiling fans, high, high ceilings, old house (100+), four-poster, queen beds, central air and heat. Cable TV/VCR/DVD in each room.Video library for guests, refrigerator, etc.Nice, old house with lots of character. (Not for those who only like ultra-modern spiffy and sleek.)

Wi-Fi and iMac desktop for guests-- unlimited phone calls within U.S.- 10 cents a minute to Europe.
Rooms/Suites
There are three guest rooms: The Matisse suite, the Alec Baldwin (sleep in the very bed he made love to Kelly Lynch in-- in a movie filmed here), and the Gothic. The Matisse and the Gothic have bath en suite.
The Alec Baldwin has a wash basin in the room and a full, private, unshared bath down the hall.
All bathrooms are PRIVATE. None are shared.
