The city limits of Waco and McGregor now overlap and all of the museums and attractions in Waco are just minutes away, such as the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, The Texas Sports Hall of Fame, The Dr Pepper Museum, The Cameron Park and Zoo, Baylor University, and the Heritage Homestead, to name just a few. Crawford, home of President George W. Bush, is just 8 miles away. Numerous golf courses are within a 10-30 minute drive, with the nearest being only 8 miles away. Mother Neff State Park is just south of town, while Lake Waco, Lake Belton, and Lake Whitney are also nearby.

Accommodations

The Lighthouse has rooms that are decorated in turn-of-the-century antiques and furnishings, many of which were handed down from generations of the owners' families. The front porch wraps around the east and south sides of the house where you can spend time in the swings or rocking chairs and a gazebo is also located in the front yard. The newest addition is a Honeymoon Cottage.

Sun Room--Queen antique iron bed with private bath (tub/shower) with roll-away available will accommodate up to three persons
Honeymoon Cottage--Queen bed, private bath, kitchenette, sitting room that will accommodate up to four persons

From Dallas-Fort Worth on I-35, take exit 330 (Loop 340) west 3 miles to Hwy 84W, west 14 miles to Hwy 317 (McGregor's Main St. and first traffic light), left through next light and right at third light (W. 6th St.), 1/2 mile to S. Harrison St., right one block to 421 S. Harrison St.

From Austin on I-35, take exit 294B (6th Ave.) west 1 mile to Hwy 317, right 28.2 miles to McGregor's W. 6th St. (first traffic light), left 1/2 mile to Harrison St., right 1 block to 421 S. Harrison St.
